Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment and systems at client sites. Your ability to diagnose issues, provide solutions, and deliver exceptional service will contribute to our mission of ensuring seamless operations for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software at client locations.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with IT systems, networks, and devices.
Perform routine maintenance and system updates to ensure optimal performance.
Provide clear and professional communication with clients to address concerns and offer solutions.
Document service activities, including diagnostics, repairs, and completed tasks.
Collaborate with the support team to escalate and resolve complex issues.
Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards during service visits.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in a field service or technical support role.
Strong knowledge of IT systems, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Must have own tools and a service van.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client locations as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent.
Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems, access control, or CCTV systems.
Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote troubleshooting tools.
